If you stay in this game long enough you will realise you have to just accept some things as fact.
Here are 5 things I have learned over 17 years in business...
1) THE FEAR NEVER GOES AWAY
You just get better at dealing with the fear and seeing it as just part of the ride. In fact the fear of NOT doing the thing becomes greater than the fear of falling flat on your face!
2) JUMP BEFORE YOU ARE READY
Most people move way too slowly, spend too much time pondering, and need way too much certainty, security, stability & predictability.
Indecision, procrastination and hesitation are a death sentence for entrepreneurs.
If you feel "ready" the moment has already past.
3) YOU WILL STILL HAVE MOMENTS OF DOUBT
Fleeting moments of impostor syndrome, self doubt & I don't know WTF i'm doing! - all normal and inevitable.
In creating the vision for your business, you have no idea - and no guarantees - for how it’s going to turn out.
4) NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE YOU
You are on your on my friend!
There is enormous value in seeking guidance from mentors, & peers who are in the trenches with you.
But none of them are your saviour! Whether your business thrives or dies is 100% on you.
No one will lead and make the hard decisions on your behalf - some of which you WILL get wrong.
5) YOUR BUSINESS WILL ONLY GROW AS FAST AS YOU CAN GROW
If you lack emotional fitness, the ability to manage your state and think laterally amongst the chaos, you’ll be indecisive, controlled by fear, doubt & frustration,
